Les stars ont envahi Cannes pour l'ouverture, hier soir, du cinquante et unième festival international du cinéma avec, cette année, dans le rôle du président du jury, Martin Scorsese. On a aussi beaucoup vu John Travolta et Emma Thompson qui incarnent, au cinéma, les Clinton. Une cérémonie d'ouverture présentée par Isabelle Huppert. Aux côtés des stars du cinéma, à noter, la présence de Kofi Annan, le secrétaire général des Nations unies, car le festival s'est associé au cinquantième anniversaire de la déclaration universelle des droits de l'homme. Et puis, à noter, l'entrée remarquée de Johnny Hallyday, du footballeur David Ginola, des mannequins comme on l'a vu, tout à l'heure, Claudia Schiffer. Bref, un rendez-vous très hétéroclite.
